If there is anything that my husband always seems to need more of, it's underwear. You know how people always joke about a child receiving socks or underwear for birthdays or Christmas? Well, my husband, on the other hand, could not be more excited to receive underwear as a gift. I'd like to believe that I have truly mastered my underwear gift giving skills. We don't focus on the basics from Macy's, Instead, I try to always find something new and exciting that is sure to bring all day comfort. So what would Valentine's Day be without gifting my husband new underwear?
Now before we get started, I wanted to apologize ahead of time since I unfortunately could not get my husband to model the underwear in these photos for us. I know what a bummer...

What would Valentine's Day be without chocolates, candy, and all the different types of sweets? Although I do love the "traditional chocolates" like KitKats or Hershey's, there are times that I feel like being fancy and treating myself and my loved ones to higher quality snacks.
When it comes to fancy treats, Sunnyland Farms is my go-to and I don't think I can ever go back to life before I was introduced to the company. Their chocolate bark is my absolute favorite and I'm convinced I could eat five pounds of it in one day if I really wanted to. My husband and I have been married for quite some time now, and we still celebrate Valentine's Day every year! We celebrate in different ways each time, but a common theme as of lately is that we enjoy staying home. We don't particularly enjoy fighting the crowd on Valentine's Day at our local restaurants, so we'll typically go out for dinner the weekend following Valentine's Day.
Especially since we spend Valentine's Day at home, we want to make sure that we are comfy. This Valentine's Day my husband and I will be cooking a steak dinner together in our matching Shinesty underwear that brings the fun and comfort! Every year for Valentine's Day I try to get my daughters a small gift of appreciation. These gifts can range from small stuffed animals to their favorite candy, but nonetheless, my daughters are very grateful for whatever they receive and continue to tell me that I don't need to keep buying stuff for them.
This year, my oldest daughter wanted to take part in the gift giving selection for my youngest daughter, and with the help of MUZEN Audio, we picked out the perfect gift for my music obsessed daughter. About Big Barker I'm sure we can all agree that there is nothing better than a company that really has a passion for what they do. The story behind Big Barker and its founder Eric and his pup, Hank, is a must read. It made me love Big Barker so much more. If you have the chance, feel free to give Eric's story a quick read here.
Long story short, Big Barker's founder Eric, was terrified of dogs at a young age, but now he makes a living by making beds for dogs! Things changed for Eric when he met his furry friend, Hank. However, Hank was diagnosed with an early case of hip dysplasia, meaning he could either get surgery done or just take it easy on himself by having less stress placed on the hips. That's where Eric comes in with his design for dreamy beds for dogs of all sizes. I've mentioned before on the blog that I love cooking with my family and trying out new recipes, so we are always looking for new additions to our seasoning/spice collection. I don't know much about spices and different seasonings, but I do know that I love adding them to every meal to change up the flavors of all of my favorite classic meals. Even if its just browsing the small section at our local grocery store, I love trying new spices and seasonings to add a different kick to all of the recipes I try out.
I recently got some new seasonings from The Spice Lab and I have never been more excited to cook some delicious meals to try all of them out! |
