Happy Fall everyone! It's been about two months since I last updated you all with some fun vegan snacks ideas. With that in mind, today's post will be dedicated to the some snacks from MadeGood Foods that my family and I have been enjoying, as we approach this lovely Fall season! Hope you all have been staying safe!
Now that my family and I have slowly been transitioning to a vegan diet, it's become more clear to us how many vegan options there are and how easy they are to find!
Something we've noticed is that there are many cereals that are almost vegan, but still include a few animal-derived micro ingredients. I always do a quick google search before making a purchase. Something along the lines of "Is ______ vegan," and with the amazing power of the internet, the answer is in my hands within seconds. One of the brands that offer many 100% vegan cereal options is Kashi. Kashi recently released their new Super Loops cereal created by kids, for kids (or honestly, even adults). A couple months ago, I shared how my family and I were slowly transitioning to a vegan diet, and I just wanted to update you all and let you know that it's been extremely successful so far! We've tried so many new snacks and foods and I can't wait to share some of our new favorites with all of you!
Although we have tried many vegan products, we are still transitioning slowly. This means that we still are not 100% on a vegan diet yet, but we are definitely eating healthier and being mindful of what we are putting into our bodies, which was our main goal. My last post included one of our new favorite snacks, and this time around I wanted to share some healthy pantry essentials including condiments, dressings, marinades, and oils all from Primal Kitchen. **I'd like to note ahead of time that not all of the products included in this post are vegan, but Primal Kitchen offers a wide variety of vegan, keto, and Whole30 options. If you haven't already read my Transitioning to a Vegan Lifestyle post, be sure to go give that a read for a little background on the changes my family will be implanting in our everyday lives.
In that post I mentioned how my family and I are on a journey to discover some new favorite vegan snacks, and I said I would keep you guys updated along the way. This is the first post of my Must Try Vegan Snacks series and I'm excited for all the new snacks I'll be trying along the way! The first snack that my family and I tried were the Biena Chickpea Snacks. How many of you recently started doing a lot more baking ever since quarantine started?
Now that both my daughters are both back home, we've spent a lot more time baking together, and I think it's a super fun mommy-daughter activity! We've experimented with many new recipes and although we are no where near experts, it's still a great experience and time consuming activity to do while we're staying at home! We recently used some baking mixes from RylieCakes to make a cake that we loved! |
